Luna Moth

I have waited years to see one of these Luna moths in person.  I have seen pictures in books and thought that this particular moth looked so beautiful.  Then this weekend my niece casually says to me, "We have this really cool moth that has been by our deck for a few days."  Well needless to say when I saw the moth I ran back to my car to get my camera.  It was even more beautiful in person than in the books.

Chasing the Dragonfly

I followed this little critter all around the yard yesterday.  I hope the neighbors weren't watching.  This shot was from when he landed in the pool and was sitting on top of the water.  I live for simple moments like this.
